NPC1220 Series Pressure Sensors (MEMS)
The NPC-1220 series of medium pressure sensors are solid-state pressure sensors that provide a cost-effective solution for applications requiring calibrated performance over a wide temperature range.The NPC-1210 series is available in a dual in-line package for printed circuit board mounting. Selectable pressure port and pin orientations and sizes provide flexible configurations.
The NPC-1220 series is based on NovaSensor’s advanced SenStableQ piezoresistive sensing technology. Silicon micromachining technology ionizes piezoresistive strain gauges into a Wheatstone bridge configuration. The NPC-1220 series offers excellent temperature performance over a temperature-compensated range of 32 °F to 1 4 0 °F (0°C to 60°C). A current-setting resistor is included to normalize the FSO for interchangeability. In addition, the NPC-1220 series is available in pressure ranges of 0 psi to 5 psi (0 bar to 0.34 bar), 0 psi to 100 psi (0 bar to 6.89 bar).
